DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI FLIGHT

Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and proceed to your hotel.Overnight stay in hotel at Delhi.

DAY 02: DELHI SIGHTSEEING

Morning free. Afternoon, option to go for a spiritual tour of Delhi.The tour will start with visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, situated in the heart of New Delhi's Cannaught Place area. Originally it was the Bungalow (Haveli/Bangla) of Mirza Raja Jai Singh, hence the name Bangla Sahib. Its original name was Jaisinghpura Palace. Mirza Raja Jai Singh was an important military leader of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, is one of Delhi's oldest temples and a major tourist attraction. Built by the industrialist Sh. J.K. Birla in 1939, this beautiful temple is located in the west of Connaught Place.
Later visit Jama Masjid , covered with intricate carvings and has verses inscribed from the holy Koran. The spacious courtyard of the Jama Masjid holds thousands of faithful. The main prayer hall of the Jama Masjid is made up of high cusped arches and marble domes.

DAY 03: DELHI – DEHRADUN - UTTARKASHI FLIGHT + DRIVE 175 KM


Morning after Breakfast Check out from hotel and transfer to Delhi airport to fly Dehradun, Upon arrival in Jolly Grant airport (Dehradun) and meet our representative and start drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival in Uttarkshi check in the resort.
The Resort is conveniently located 5 km from Uttarkashi on the way to Gangotri. The resort is spread around 4 acres of lush green terrace fields surrounded by Cliff Mountains and situated right on the river bank of Bhagirathi. The Resort is a perfect place for a cool retreat from the noise and pollution of the plains amidst refreshing natural surroundings.
Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at resort in Uttarkashi.

DAY 04: UTTARKASHI (1,150 M)

A very beautiful day in the lap of nature will start with a Chanting session. This opens our lungs and minds . Later enjoy a hot cup of morning tea made with ancient species before we head towards the path of rejuvenate ourself by practicing different Asanaas, and study the various methods and techniques of yoga with your Yoga Teacher.
Morning session will include session will include 'Introduction to basic yogic postures & practice' and 'Breathing and relaxation techniques. Today we will learn about Hatha Yoga.
The fundamentals of learning in Hatha yoga are formed by the asanas. Through the asanas the body becomes physically fit and intensive practice brings steadiness, health and lightness to the body as it purifies the body systems. These asanas are essential to learn in order to move onto higher levels of meditation.
Later in the day there will be a session on yogic food and you will have an opportunity to learn how to make yogic food and drinks.
In the evening from we will participate in Aarti at the bank of Bhagirathi. The Bhagirathi is a turbulent Himalayan river in the state of Uttarakhand, India, that is the source stream of the Ganges —the major river of the Gangetic plain of Northern India and the holy river of Hinduism. All participants will have an opportunity to participate in the preparation of the Aarti as well.

DAY 05: UTTARKASHI

Start your day with a chanting session to open your mind and lungs. Later enjoy a cup of tea made with ancient spices., followed by a session on Ashtanga Yoga. The asana practice makes the body flexible and physically fit . Through Pranayama you can control breathing and develop peace of mind . Meditation practice leads to experience the stillness of mind and awareness essential for facing all situations of life and Pratyahara brings control of the mind . Experience the calmness of the mind through Samadhi – the last stage in this yoga During this session you will have an opportunity to open the full potential of the body and mind and increase inner confidence while improving mental health.

Midday you have an option to visit Uttarkashi town, where you can visit the Vishwanath temple,a prime pilgrimage attractions in Uttarkashi. An ancient temple, it is said that it was first built by Parasuram. Later, it was renovated by Maharani Khaneti, wife of Sudarshan Shah in 1857. The temple has a Shivling, 60 cms high and 90 cms in circumference . You can also visit the Shakti Temple , famous for a big Trishul erected in the center of the temple. The trishul is 6 metres in height and 90 cms at the bottom. Different people hold different views about the trishul; it is widely believed that the trishul is made of iron in the upper part and copper in the lower part. The epics say that this trishul was thrown at devils by goddess Durga.
Evening participate with your Yoga guru for another session of Ashtanga Yoga.
Later we will proceed for aarti on the ganaga.

DAY 06: UTTARKASHI

Start your day with a cup of tea made with ancient spices, followed by Laughter yoga session with Yoga teacher.
Laughter Yoga session will led by a laughter leader or teacher, who controls the laughter session, explains and gives commands to start and complete different Laughter Exercises. The leader guides the members to start and complete laughter exercises together for improved group dynamic. During most Laughter Yoga exercises, group members keep moving, and establish eye contact with others in the group. Most laughter sessions focus on enjoyment, rather than force, when doing laughter exercises. The laughter session strives to cultivate childlike playfulness during Laughter Yoga exercises.
Midday session will include asana, pranayama (breathing session), and savasana (relaxation session) talk by your yoga guru on yoga and meditation including the philosophy Yoga.
In the evening Meditation/Relaxation sessionwith your guru.
Ganga arti in the evening.

DAY 07: UTTARKASHI (1,150 M)


Early morning we will start our day with a beautiful nature walk and Bird watching session. We shall meet villagers in their house or fields. Back to resort for morning tea made with ancient spcies.
Post tea enjoy an chanting session along with discussion and chat on Meditation and Yoga.
Midday we will practise Hatha and Astanga Yoga asanas, pranayama (breathing session), and savasana (relaxation session)
In the evening Meditation/Relaxation session followed by Ganga Aarti.
Enjoy the Dinner at overnight stay at Shikhar Nature Resort.

DAY 08: UTTARKASHI - RISHIKESH 175 KM

Today morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival in Rishikesh and check in the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure in Hotel. Evening Ganga Arti Darshan at Parmath Niketan Ramjhula Rishikesh. Back to Hotel for overnight stay.
