On 06.04.2023 in Dibrugarh University, a Memorandum of Understanding was executed seen between the Director, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), New Delhi, and Dibrugarh University, represented by Dr. Paramananda Sonowal, Registrar i/c of Dibrugarh University. The Agreement will result in the establishment of an Advanced Center of Yoga at Dibrugarh University, with MDNIY providing technical assistance and Yoga instructors to operate the Center's yoga training and rehabilitation programs. The Institute is projected to greatly benefit the University's teaching faculty, officials, staff, students, and the residents of Dibrugarh.
